Costume designer, actor and playwright Noel Taylor (born Harold Alexander Taylor Jr.) was born in Youngstown, Ohio on Jan. 17, 1913. His career took off in 1945, when he designed the costumes, scenery and props for Stravinsky's ballet performance of Firebird, after Marc Chagall's vision.
